E-learning

Development of an education program providing basic IP knowledge for entrepreneurs is already underway in cooperation with the corporate NGO system of the SMEs, having countrywide office network.

The Hungarian Patent Office continues to develop the IP e-learning package, which - next to the re-engineering and updating of the patent module - will cover each protection area, and will be accessible on the Internet. e-learning is a perfect tool to educate the SME sector, made up of entrepreneurs who have little free time and wish to follow their own pace of education.

Development of IP education at the level of higher education is continuing, since the subject is not yet integrated into the curricula of every university of Hungary .

The aim of the Hungarian Patent Office for 2005 is to launch the going-live of the patent related e-learning package. The trademark module is to follow in the 2nd quarter of 2006.
