SCHEDULE OF FEES
CONCERNING APPLICATIONS FOR PLANT VARIETY PROTECTION AND GRANTED PROTECTION

as in force from April 20, 2005
by virtue of Decree No 19/2005 (IV. 12.) GKM

1. Filing fee	32 000	8 000
2. Fee for a request for extension of time limits concerning any action
- for the first request	4 800
- for the second request	8 500
- for any further requests	16 000
3. Fee for a request for the division of an application for plant variety protection, for each further application	32 000
4. Fee for a request for recording a succession in title	15 000
- if the breeder of a service plant variety acquires rights	3 200
5. Fee for a request for recording a right of pledge or a license agreement	15 000
6. Annual maintenance fees
- paid in the first three months of the six-month period of grace
a)** from the first to the tenth year, yearly	53 400	26 700
b)*** from the eleventh year until lapse by reason of expiry, yearly	106 800	53 400
- paid in the fourth, fifth or sixth month of the six-month period of grace
a)** from the first to the tenth year, yearly	80 100	40 050

7.Fee for a request for the restoration of plant variety protection

8. Fee for a request for the revocation of plant variety protection	128 000
9. Fee for a request for the cancellation of plant variety protection	128 000
10. Fee for a request for the cancellation of the variety denomination	128 000

* Breeders are entitled to the allowances if no priority of a foreign application was claimed in relation to the application or if protection is based on an application in relation to which no priority of a foreign application was claimed.

** In the case of vines and trees half of the amount indicated shall be payable

*** In the case of vines and trees three quarters of the amount indicated shall be payable

All fees shall be payable to the account No. 10032000-01731842-00000000 of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office kept with the Hungarian State Treasury (IBAN: HU30 1003 2000 0173 1842 00000000, Swift code: MANEHUHB), by bank transfer or money order, with the indication of the reference number or of the registration number and with the indication of "Treasury Transaction Code 311".
