Obtaining design protection through national procedure

The design protection is granted by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office in accordance with the prescriptions of the legal regulations regarding design applications.

  • Only a filing fee has to be paid in the course of the procedure.
  • The process of the design protection procedure is detailed in the information.
  • The preparation of the design application is assisted by the guide and the decree on formal requirements.
  •  For the application it is expedient to use the form which is available in several formats (Word, Acrobat).
